![]() Experts have tried to build a 64-bit scaffolding around it in the hopes that it would at least stop the crashing and Error12s if/when the program calls for more RAM than it can use. ![]() In order to be 64-bit, the program would have to be redone entirely. Even if one could suppress the overflow errors and never divide by zero, the answers provided (the digits in the memory registers) will never make any sense. No 32-bit program can address more RAM than 4 GB, it would be like trying to do 16-digit math on an 8-digit calculator. ![]() ![]() The stricter 4 GB limit, and for practical purposes it's really about 3.7 GB, is due the program being 32-bit. But EA fixed that when Patch 1.17 came out alongside of LateNite so the app is no longer required. That was fixable by a third party open source app that made it so, not a mod. The prior 2 GB limit was due the game program not being Large Address Aware (LAA).
